Competition time!! 🎉🥇🥈🥉 Our pumpkin carving entries have all been returned and the competition is fierce this year! This year you’ve really ‘smashed’ it, you’ve really ‘lit up’ the competition but we need to decide who’s ’carved out’ a win as our ‘Pump-king overlord’ (give me a break alright, I’m doing my best here… 😩😅😆) This is how YOU are going to decide a winner (adults comp tonight) 😬 Step 1, like your ‘3’ favourite photos in any order Step 2, close the voting at 11am Thurs & count votes Step 3, we’ll announce the winner and dish out prizes! 1st place, £100 food voucher for the royal 2nd place, £50 food voucher for the royal 3rd place, a really slow, patronising round of applause and the sympathy of your peers that you’ve not quite ‘cut it’ this year 🤷‍♂️😉😆 Please take this in the spirit it was inteneded, a bit of harmless fun and family time and everyone who entered has a discount voucher so everyone’s won really 😬

⚠️ PUMPKIN CARVING COMPETITION TIME ⚠️ It’s that time of the year again and our veg supplier was over the moon this morning to be delivering an additional 50 pumpkins for your carving pleasure!! 🎃😁 Here’s how it goes, Step 1, collect your FREE pumpkin from us to take away Step 2, get creative and carve or decorate your pumpkin Step 3, bring it back by 5pm Weds 29th Oct Step 4, we’ll get photos when you bring it back asap Step 5, we’ll put all your pumpkins to a Facebook vote next week and there’ll be some prizes to dish out!! This year we have two competitions, ⭐ Under 12’s competition 1st place £50 food voucher, 2nd place £25 food voucher ⭐ Adults (and young adults) competition 1st place £100 food voucher, 2nd place £50 food voucher Because everyone’s a winner when you party with us, if you bring back a decorated pumpkin, we’ll give you a voucher for 25% OFF your food bill when you next visit. But it is only redeemable Mon-Thurs and up to a £100 bill maximum 😁 We only have a limited amount of pumpkins so it’s first come, first served. And if this does badly I hope you all like pumpkin soup… 😉

I told sous chef, Ben I had pictures of his bird from last Saturday night and I was going to post them online…. I’m not entirely sure this is what he had in mind, but here goes…. 😐😉 Our delicious roast partridge from the October menu, served with root vegetable, apple & black pudding hash, braised red cabbage and & sticky port reduction. It’s delish! 😍😬
