It’s also the last weekend before we switch to our brand new June menu which launches next Thursday so don’t be grumbling at me when all your new favourites disappear from the menu 🤷‍♂️😬

Rightly or wrongly, historically I’ve secretly thought that instagram is primarily for women and kids. It’s in the same category for me as fully grown guys that use snapchat and aren’t on a register… all a bit suspect 🤷‍♂️😆 Anyway, I’m having to eat my words now with a nice big slice of humble pie as I invite you all to follow us on instagram. The Biscoff profiteroles on our buffet today were absolutely banging! They’re probably the reason that although we host a fair amount of mid week functions, we won’t be hosting any weight watchers meeting anytime soon I guess… 🤷‍♂️😬😍

There’s been a bike ditched on our canal side entrance for a few days now. Either its owner has been trapped in the toilets all this time and can’t get out (in which case I’ll be having a stern word with the housekeepers), or more likely; it was nicked by some waste of space smackhead and got abandoned once the joy ride was over… 🤷‍♂️🙄 Either way, if it’s yours, feel free to collect 😬

Between you and me, I originally wanted to title this area of the ladies toilets ‘handbags and jam-rags’ 😳 Safe to say, better council prevailed…. 🤷‍♂️😆 Whatever it’s called, we want to take care of ALL your comforts when you visit. Besides, buying trade size packs of ladies tampons and sanitary wear is one of Jason’s favourite errands to run… 😉😆

Thanks for all your feedback on our new chips, good and bad; it’s all useful so thank you. We gathered your many comments, put our heads together and have considered what you told us. The verdict? We have decided to opt for the best of both worlds. Our new chunky chips will remain hand cut in-house, tasty and soft with deeper natural colour. Most seem to love them, some won’t. That’s life 🤷‍♂️ As a compromise, we decided to revert back to our original fries which are (cough cough) bought in, crisper, lighter in colour and more uniform. If that’s what you want, i can live with that 🤷‍♂️😬 Once again, we thank you for getting involved and sharing your thoughts! 😬

If I’ve told our gardener once, I’ve told him a thousand times! Steven, can you PLEASE stop shaving your balls in the garden, it’s really off putting…. 🙄🤷‍♂️😆
