🚨 England still searching for a third lion 🚨
Molly and Alfie have submitted their applications.
One space remains.
Minimum requirements:
* Good temperament (no idea how Alfie got the gig)
* Strong hydration credentials
* Must not bottle big moments
Drop your dog photos below if you think they’re ready for international football.
(England v Croatia, 9pm tonight in the bar.)

New beers have landed. Very local. Very fresh. Very craft. Very hard to pronounce after 3 pints.
If you like your beer hoppy, juicy, hazy, or described with words that sound vaguely made up… we’ve got you covered 🍻

The boss has spoken.
Apparently Father’s Day bookings are looking rather healthy… and those of you planning to “sort it later in the week” may want to rethink that strategy.
Just passing on the message. 🐾

The World Cup starts this week and Molly has reluctantly come out of international retirement and is ready to support England once again.
Unfortunately, after reviewing the fixture list, she’s discovered some matches kick off at times ranging from “a bit late” to “absolutely not.”
For now, the football will be on quietly in the background. If England start doing England things, we'll all pretend we never cared. If they start doing England things properly, we'll ramp things up accordingly 🤷♂️
Until then, Molly has confirmed she won't be staying up until 2am for a group game against a country she can't find on a map 😉😆

As a Yorkshireman living in Lancashire, planting red roses throughout the garden felt slightly uncomfortable…
I did consider white roses, but I thought I might get escorted out of the village 🤷♂️😆
So we’ve settled on a diplomatic solution. A mixture of the two!
The climbing roses we planted last summer are finally coming into their own, and they’re putting on quite a show this June. 🌹😎

People ask what I get up to as a single, male owner of a busy gastropub when I get a weekend night off. I reckon it’ll be wild. You’re probably out partying until the early hours…?
‘Yeah, something like that…’
Me on my night off: designing soap packaging labels for my retired mum’s hand made soaps she sells at craft fairs. What a time to be alive… 🤷♂️😆
