It’s the weekend, go onnn! 😉🤷♂️ We’re open from 9am seven days a week AND if you’re joining us before 11am Monday - Friday, we offer any of our breakfast dishes and a hot drink for £12 😬
Cal, our very own man of steel, has been busy in the garden the past few days pressure washing as we start the long road back to getting our garden ‘match fit’ for the season ahead. The furniture is back in place but once the gardener and decorator have done their magic, we hope to once again contend our crown as local beer garden ‘best in show’ 🤷♂️😆😬🤞
Because our menus are full of fresh food made in house, it’s easy to tweak recipes to make them gluten free. We recognised that while we’re generally pretty good at gf mains, our dessert options aren’t as accessible. This monthly menu and moving forward, we’ve tweaked our sticky toffee pudding so that it’s gluten free! Trust me, it’s still delicious!! It may be gluten free, but with all the cream, sugar and butter in that sauce, it’s DEFFO not glutton free!! Sue me…😉😆🤷♂️
It’s a beautiful spring day in Bolton le sands! To tell you the truth, we’ve been caught a bit off guard with this weekends milder weather. Our garden was scheduled to be deep cleaned, weeded and put back together next week ready for spring (it’ll be back to 6 degrees by then…) 😉 For today, we’ve set up some tables outside for drinks, but we won’t be serving any food in the garden. Sorry, we appreciate that’s not ideal but I can’t tell you how much fun it was yesterday trying to figure out where people were sat with 40 tables, no table numbers and a random table layout! 🤷♂️

Sous chef, Dom’s been baking up a storm this afternoon. Brand new from the March menu that launched late last week, our salted caramel and hazelnut banoffee pie … 😍 Good work Dom! The child in me had an unexplainable urge to smash that pie right in his face, but HR have said apparently that’s a no no… 🤷♂️😆😬
